Tanzania Classic Mid-Range Safari – 6 Days

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be met and transferred to your mid-range hotel in Arusha. After check-in, relax and enjoy the hotel’s amenities or explore the vibrant town at your leisure.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Embark on an afternoon game drive, spotting lions, leopards, and various bird species. Stay at a comfortable tented camp inside or near the park, offering a cozy atmosphere with en-suite facilities and excellent views of the surrounding wilderness.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Drive to the Serengeti, Tanzania’s flagship park. En route, enjoy the changing landscapes, from the rolling hills to the endless plains. After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti, where you may witness the Great Migration. Spend the night at a mid-range tented camp with ensuite bathrooms and solar-powered amenities, located in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti’s vast plains, teeming with wildlife. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, and relax at your camp in the evening, watching the sunset over the savannah. Your comfortable camp will offer freshly prepared meals and a relaxing campfire to unwind after a thrilling day.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After a morning game drive in the Serengeti, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your mid-range lodge or camp perched on the crater rim, offering spectacular views of the caldera below. Relax in the comfort of your lodge before a hearty dinner.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of wildlife viewing. The crater’s dense population of animals, including the Big Five, provides an exceptional safari experience. After a picnic lunch by a hippo pool, drive back to Arusha, where your safari concludes.
